Hello! As you can see above, my name is Jacob and I'm super excited to help -- in whatever way I can -- to make this exciting, but intimidating, college search less stressful. Having just finished my application process, I am ready to offer you fresh insights into any and all questions you may have.
I chose Wharton's Benjamin Franklin Scholars program because I am eager to marry my interest in a career-preparatory finance curriculum with the flexibility of a diverse liberal arts framework. I'd love to talk to you about my high school extracurriculars, where I learned the value of engaging with new perspectives. My most meaningful experiences arose in times I facilitated dialogue promoting unity across socio-economic, racial, religious and geopolitical boundaries. This includes Seeds of Peace sessions with Israeli and Palestinian teens, Long Island's Breaking Borders program which fights segregation, and Project Understanding's interfaith journey among Jews and Catholics.
In my free time I’m a juggler, Rubik’s cuber, and magician; I also like shooting hoops and I’m an avid Yankees fan. Can't wait to meet you!
